WHAT THE @#&%$......

Daily Manna from the 'Net - Tuesday, November 29, 2005

O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. Be merciful to me, LORD, for I am faint; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are in agony. My soul is in anguish. How long, O LORD, how long? Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave? I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes. Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping. The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. Psalm 6:1-9 NIV

Quite an encouragement for me as i read this.... literally what i had did.... crying out to God.

As some knew... i was struggling with mentoring.... a new role for me to learn. How interesting and how irritating. Haha... recently it gets on my nerves.... tendency to curse or scold is great... ah.. should i say its temptation. Heehee... so that spells why the title of this blog. Thank God i didn't say those words... just scold but felt its no good either. Well... i'm taking a break now.... think i should spend this time to pray more.

Apart from this is the persistent itch that i have on the left side of my body.... its been more than a month. Seeing Doc didn't help.... praying for it to go off.... its driving me crazy at times... :(

The Lord heard my cry! So comforting... Guess i should learn to lay all my burdens at the foot of the cross.

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS (ASHES TO BEAUTY) - Kathryn Scott

At the foot of the cross
Where grace and suffering meet
You have shown me Your love
Through the judgment You received

And You've won my heart
Yes You've won my heart
Now I can

Trade these ashes in for beauty
And wear forgiveness like a crown
Coming to kiss the feet of mercy
I lay every burden down
At the foot of the cross

At the foot of the cross
Where I am made complete
You have given me life
Through the death You bore for me

I'm laying every burden down
I'm laying every burden down

Prelude of Baptism

Daily Manna from the 'Net - Sunday, November 27, 2005

And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 NIV

Haha...... This verse reminds me of what happened on Saturday... I finally told mom about the baptism thingy!!!

Phew... was praying for a good time to tell mom.... and then on that faithful day..... thts saturday.... at the polyclinic.... felt it was the right time.... not sure so i pray for a sign.... God showed me a poster on the wall....its something like "A little commitment... for you and your family". Well let sets me to tell mom about the baptism.

Thank God she was calm. Though shes not in an agreeable mood but no violent either. She simply say why have to go, no, you have not done what i wan u to do (pay a visit to medium... NO WAY!). I'm taking this positively, i'll go for the baptism... pray for me ok? I'll tell her more as the it draws nearer to baptism day. Hope to see her there too with the rest of my family.
